Marcus Steinweg (*1971, Koblenz) is one of the most renowned contemporary German philosophers. As a professor of art and theory, he teaches at the Academy of Arts in Karlsruhe. Steinweg is the author of more than 15 books and editor of the journal "Inasthetics" (Merve Verlag), which operates at the interface of art and philosophy. For the catalog of the exhibition "Mother Tongue" by Camille Henrot, Marcus Steinweg wrote the contribution "7 NOTES FOR CAMILLE (CHILD / MIRROR / MILK / RIEN À ÉSPERER / DOT / FASCINATION / FREEDOM)".
