Frijoles Resistentes

Lucila Pacheco Dehne presents the food performance Frijoles Resistentes in the kitchen of the Kestner Gesellschaft, in her exhibition and in Cafe Tender Buttons as part of her show Lucila Pacheco Dehne. To All My Roaring Bodies, The Seeds And The Mountains.

As part of her exhibition, Lucila Pacheco Dehne is showing a performance in which different dishes will be eaten and prepared. The dishes are accompanied by texts by the artist that tell of feminist resistance struggles in the colonial era, speak of anger, solidarity and the sea and activate individual elements of the exhibition.
