Summer of Art

Double the art - two art houses, two art exhibitions, and the whole thing becomes your film studio! Inspired by outstanding film trailers, we invite you to create videos in the exhibitions of the Kestner Gesellschaft and the Kunstverein Hannover. Why does the camera stand where it does? What does a director do and how do you actually tell a story on film? Discover the art exhibitions with the camera and develop your own film! You will receive an iPad and create short clips, which you will underlay with commentary and sound effects. Professional filmmakers will help you with your ideas and the realization. At the end of the workshop there will be a proper film premiere (popcorn included), where all works will be celebrated on the big screen.
