The Kestner Gesellschaft cordially invites you to the opening of the solo exhibitions of Paloma Varga Weisz. Multiface and Monilola Olayemi Ilupeju: BloodLetter as well as the special exhibition beyond now. Editions !

On St Nicholas' Day, we will celebrate the new exhibition program for winter 2024 with the artists Paloma Varga Weisz and Monilola Olayemi Ilupeju and our visitors. The evening will kick off with welcoming words from Thomas Bürkle, the 2nd Chairman of the Executive Board. Afterward, Alexander Wilmschen, head of artistic program (interim) and curator of the exhibitions, will then give an introduction to the genesis of the shows.

Prepare to be entertained as DJ Lunatic takes over the turntables, treating you to a diverse range of music from rap, disco, funk, soul, reggae, rock, breakbeats, and house, ensuring a night of non-stop fun.

Dancing makes you thirsty, but luckily the LieblingsBar is ready with drinks and a special drink for this evening. The popular Café Tender Buttons is open again and invites you to linger on the 2nd floor of the Kestner Gesellschaft, drink together, and enjoy a little refreshment.

At 8.00 pm, Gabriele Sand, interim head of art education, will give a guided tour through the three exhibitions - highly recommended!

For families, we have a special treat! Children aged 4 and over cannot only view the exhibitions by Paloma Varga Weisz and Monilola Olayemi Ilupeju but also participate in a range of interactive activities at the Kindervernissage from 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm. It's an event the whole family can enjoy
