Curator's Tour

In his public exhibition tour, curator Alexander Wilmschen gives insights into the current exhibitions Underwater Haze by Trevor Yeung, thereafter by Ian Waelder, and The Rivers They Don’t See by Som Supaprinya, as well as the second edition of the Passage project with the theme Disruptive Continuums.

Alexander Wilmschen is a curator at the Kestner Gesellschaft and served as interim director from 2024 to 2025. He studied art history and philosophy as well as Art History in a Global Context in Düsseldorf and Berlin. At the Kestner Gesellschaft, he has curated numerous exhibitions, including projects with The Institute of Queer Ecology, Klára Hosnedlová, Rebecca Ackroyd, Anna K.E., Paloma Varga Weisz, and Jack O’Brien.
