Finissage
Exhibition Program Summer 2025

To mark the end of the exhibitions Underwater Haze, thereafter, and The Rivers They Don’t See, there will be a closing event with exhibition tours led by the curators and art educators of the Kestner Gesellschaft.
Further information will follow shortly.
In Underwater Haze, Trevor Yeung addresses physical and emotional alienation, care, and the question of the potential of overgrowth—as a reaction or strategy within controlled systems. In his works in thereafter, Ian Waelder explores the limits of memory: family traces, biographical breaks, everyday remnants—not as evidence, but as fragile carriers of a history that eludes linear narration. In The Rivers They Don’t See, Som Supaparinya highlights the political and ecological significance of Southeast Asian rivers.
