From The Bedroom Show to Underwater Haze
Conversation with Cosmin Costinaș on Trevor Yeung’s practice

Cosmin Costinaș will engage in a digital conversation with Trevor Yeung about the artist’s evolving practice and his current solo exhibition Underwater Haze at the Kestner Gesellschaft. The talk will depart from Yeung’s 2012 solo exhibition held in the apartment he shared with his parents in Hong Kong. That show initiated many of the artist's themes and approaches which are also found in Underwater Haze, intensified here through a multilayered ecological system where control and overgrowth become tangible.
Costinaș has collaborated with Yeung since 2014 on numerous projects, including the Shanghai Biennale, the Biennale of Sydney, the Kathmandu Triennale, and several exhibitions at Para Site in Hong Kong.
