Exhibition tour: Sprengel Museum Hannover – Reinstallation of the Collection

Under this title, the Sprengel Museum Hannover presents its collection in 20 newly designed galleries. Around 400 works, ranging from Classical Modernism to the present day, unfold on a scale not seen for the past ten years, featuring artists from Max Beckmann, Max Ernst and Pablo Picasso to Isa Genzken, Georg Baselitz, Bruce Nauman and Michel Majerus. The title quotes a work by the Hanover-based artist Christiane Möbus and stands for curiosity, surprise and admiration. Inka Schube, curator of the collection presentation, will personally guide visitors through the extensive reinstallation, preceded by a welcome from Rainhard Spieler, Director of the Sprengel Museum Hannover.
