Living Metals
Performance by Joana Escoval

Visitors are invited to partake in Living Metals (revolution) – a sculpture that acts as a conductor when held. It bridges vibrations in air and the resonant capacities of those who hold it, thus allowing the circulation and flux of energy between metal, organic and gaseous. This flux can be further amplified by setting the sculpture into a spinning motion, according to a set of instructions available at Kestner Gesellschaft.
