Gabriele Sand was curator and head of the Education and Outreach Department at the Sprengel Museum Hannover until 2022. From 1994 to 2020 she taught modern art history at the HBK Braunschweig and the Hochschule Hannover. She supervised numerous exhibitions and publications on contemporary art.
