Summer-Dream-Prelude to Hannah Arendt

Reading: "I can't imagine how I will live without you one day"

A reading from letters by Hannah Arendt to and from her friends with Dr. Beate Kasper, Christiane Claßen, Regine Balk and musical accompaniment by Joël Besmehn.

Joël Besmehn is/was a member of various ensembles such as Vivid Voices or SUB5; she is a choir director. She studied school music at the HMTH in Hanover, specializing in jazz music. She works as a teacher at a grammar school in Hanover.

Christiane Claßen is a singer in the Leineperlen choir (Hanover's lesbian choir); she has been involved in women's political issues for 40 years. women's political issues. She teaches integration courses.

Regine Balk is also a singer in the Leineperlen choir; for many years she worked at the women's advice center in Verden/Aller. She is the mother of three children and married to a woman.

Dr. Beate Kasper has been politically active for many years; she has worked as a consultant for schools and is a lecturer at the International University of Applied Sciences. lecturer at the International University in Hanover.

All four women are interested in philosophical and political issues; they have studied Hannah Arendt and discovered how impressive her female friendships are.
