After studying art history, Dr. Johannes Janssen (born 1969 in Norden) initially worked at the Saarland Cultural Heritage Foundation before helping to shape the transformation of the art department of ALTANA AG into the ALTANA Cultural Foundation in Bad Homburg and later into the Nantesbuch Foundation. Most recently, he worked for this foundation as Director of the Museum Sinclair-Haus. Since 2019, he has been Foundation Director of the Niedersächsische Sparkassenstiftung and the VGH Stiftung.

Carina Plath (born 1966 in Münster), studied art history, classical archaeology and Romance studies in Münster, Bologna, Munich and Bochum. Archaeology and Romance Studies in Münster, Bologna, Munich and Bochum as well as Curatorial Studies at CCS, Bard College, Annandale-on-Hudson, USA, she was Director of the Westfälischer Kunstverein, Münster, from 2002-2010. In 2007 she curated skulptur projekte münster 07 with Brigitte Franzen and Kasper König. In 2010 she became Deputy Director and Curator for Painting and Sculpture at the Sprengel Museum in Hanover.
