D.I.Y. Sunday by Elfie & Ignaz

Elfie & Ignaz is a hotspot – if not the hotspot – for vintage furniture, fashion, events, and the legendary “Secret Room,” made famous by the TV show Shopping Queen.

Since 2008, Elfie and her partner Ignaz have transformed their “Vintage Institute” into one of the most sought-after insider tips in Hanover’s Nordstadt district – with creativity, dedication, and a strong sense of style. It’s a place full of inspiration – a space where visions become reality.

After a guided tour of the exhibitions by Jack O’Brien, Som Supaparinya, and Göksu Kunak, Elfie will open her two-story warehouse and in-house bar exclusively on Sunday. Particularly inspired by O’Brien’s practice of transforming everyday objects, she invites guests to collaboratively create a temporary sculpture from a collection of chairs.

A warm summer evening among antiques and curiosities, art and kitsch, old and new – accompanied by a good drink and people open to art and conversation.
