Kids' Vernissage
For families with children aged 3 and over
Free admission

The Kestner Gesellschaft is looking forward to welcoming art and plant-loving families to the children's vernissage on August 15. We are opening the new solo exhibitions by Trevor Yeung, Ian Waelder and the extended exhibition by Som Supaparinya with great activities.
The art education team is offering a fun, interactive family tour. There are delicate plant leaves, prickly cacti & glowing mushrooms to discover. An art room dressed entirely in cardboard and showing surprising works. And a new video installation on rivers in Thailand. After the tour, you can get creative yourself! In the glittering passage room, families can create their own bottle gardens as mini-ecosystems. A funny landscape is created from cardboard. And with a special edition of a children's magazine lovingly designed by the team, you can also have fun in the exhibition rooms. There will also be cactus ice cream, fruit spritzers and a plant tattoo for the young art lovers.
It's going to be a party - we look forward to seeing you!
